A few musings from Kansas by a high school literature teacher. Over the past few months, this blog has turned a commentary on media. I will probably continue to focus on film and television, but books and music might sneak in... The Holiday - Okay, this one has potential. I wonder - is there a girl with a flat in a charming part of London that would trade houses with me for a few weeks? And if so, would a Jude Law type guy be in the picture? :-) :-) :-) Also, I think I'm going to like Jack Black in this one. He's a very hit or miss actor for me, but this might be a hit.

I am a Literature teacher in Kansas. Currently, I am wondering if it is possible to communicate a passion for Lit in a way that my students will catch the same passion...or any passion for that matter! :-) (Ahh - the joys of communicating a deep love of language to high school students with the added challenge of quite possibly having the worst spelling in the history of English teachers. ) :-)
