A few musings from Kansas by a high school literature teacher. Over the past few months, this blog has turned a commentary on media. I will probably continue to focus on film and television, but books and music might sneak in... My beloved cousin is having a baby right now, and my beloved sister will be having one soon. Babies have been on my mind recently. I can't wait to be an aunt.

I am a Literature teacher in Kansas. Currently, I am wondering if it is possible to communicate a passion for Lit in a way that my students will catch the same passion...or any passion for that matter! :-) (Ahh - the joys of communicating a deep love of language to high school students with the added challenge of quite possibly having the worst spelling in the history of English teachers. ) :-)
